Understanding the Configure Tab
The Configure tab lets you enter system parameters and object tracking
options in a series of form-like screens. The left side of the screen lists the
different forms you can fill out. To select a particular form, click one of the
form names on the left side. (The labels in all capital letters are descriptive
headings only and do not represent forms.)
The right side of the screen shows the forms themselves. In the Configure
tab, MeetingTime does not automatically populate the forms. This enables
you to browse for the form you need without querying MeetingPlace for the
information.
Form Types
The Configure tab uses two different kinds of forms:

Parameter forms—Use these forms to set up system parameters, such as
Telephony Access, Usage Parameters, Scheduling Parameters, and NS
Site Configuration.

Object forms—Use these forms to set up objects that MeetingPlace
tracks. Objects include User Profiles, User Groups, Ports, Port Groups,
System Options, Time Zone Import Codes, and Flex Fields.
These two types of forms behave essentially the same. The difference is that
Object forms display only one of many records at a time. For example, the
User Profiles form displays only one profile at a time even if many profiles
are defined.
Viewing Form Field Values
To view the field values for a form:
1.

Click a form name on the left side of the Configure tab.

Be sure not to select a topic heading denoted by all capital letters. These
topic headings are included for descriptive purposes only.
2.

Click the Query button on the bottom of the tab.
