Cisco Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS) Version 15

Cisco TelePresence 

Conductor

TelePresence Conductor is required for conference resource allocation and 

management of conference bridges.

Release XC3.0 or later is required. XC3.0.2 or later is required for deployments 

that use TSP audio.

The TelePresence Conductor must be deployed using its back-to-back user agent 

(B2BUA). The external policy server interface is not supported.

Cisco TelePresence 

Management Suite (Cisco 

TMS)

Cisco TMS is required for scheduling CMR Hybrid meetings.

Release 14.6 or later is required.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 

R2 or 2012

SQL Server 2008 R2 or 2012 is required as the database for Cisco TMS. 2012 is 

recommended for new installations.

Cisco TelePresence 

Management Suite 

Extension for Microsoft 

Exchange (Cisco TMSXE)

Cisco TMSXE is required for scheduling CMR Hybrid meetings through Microsoft 

Outlook using either the WebEx Productivity Tools Plug-in or WebEx Scheduling 

Mailbox Scheduling.

  

Release 3.1 or later is required. 4.0 or later is recommended (supports Microsoft 

Exchange 2013).

Cisco TelePresence

Provisioning Extension 

(Cisco TMSPE)

Cisco TMSPE is required for scheduling Cisco Collaboration Meeting Rooms 

(CMR) Hybrid meetings using Smart Scheduler.

Release 1.4 or later is required. 

Use of Smart Scheduler does not require the TMS provisioning option key.

Cisco TelePresence Video 

Communication Server 

(Cisco VCS)

Cisco VCS Control and Cisco VCS Expressway are required as the call control 

solution.

Release X8.5 or later is required. 

Cisco Expressway

Cisco Expressway-C and Cisco Expressway-E X8.5 or later are highly 

recommended for Unified CM-centric deployments because of the lower-cost 

licensing model and simplified deployment.

Note: A Unified CM license is required to purchase Cisco Expressway.
