Caution
The VIC3-2FXS-E/DID ports in FXS mode provide balanced ringing and may not interwork with certain 
network leased lines using Digital Loop Carriers (DLCs) that require unbalanced ringing signals.

Step 3
Connect the other end of the cable to the RJ-11 port on the telephone or fax machine.
