Cisco Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express 1.2 Release Notes

Reintroduced support for French (FR), French (CA), German (DE), and English (AU) languages. These 
languages were removed in Release 1.1.3 and have been added back in Release 1.1.4.

Added a Google search module that enables you to quickly search the day’s meetings to find relevant 
meetings hosted by Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express. You can join a meeting or view the details of 
a future meeting by clicking on the meeting link in the search results. There is nothing to configure or

Upgrade-only software images—Used to upgrade from an earlier software release to a later software 
release of Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express.

Password recovery software images—Used to recover the root password if you are using a 
Cisco MCS 7825 series server, a Cisco MCS 7835H-3.0-IPC1, or Cisco MCS 7835-H1-RC1. For 
complete information about recovering your password, see the Troubleshooting Guide for 
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express Release 1.1.

Each Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express Release 1.1.0 and Release 1.1.1 shipment comes with two 
disks:

Preparation CD (required for Cisco MCS 7835I-3.0-IPC1 only). If you are installing 
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express onto a Cisco MCS 7835I-3.0-IPC1 for the first time, you must 
first install the operating system image from the preparation CD.

Installation DVD. The Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express operating system and application 
software is installed from the installation DVD.
