Start menu > Control panel > Sounds and audio devices

Voice
tab.
3. To alter the volume of the sound being received, select the Volume button in the Voice playback section
and slide the control to the desired level. To alter the volume of the microphone, select the Volume button
in the Voice recording section and slide the control to the desired level.

To control the volume using the system tray:
Click the Volume control icon
in the Windows system tray.
