The precedence of pattern matching is explicit from top to bottom of the configured DN list.
The result is the first matching pattern in the list traversed from top to bottom regardless of
whether there is a more specific pattern lower down.
Exact pattern matches take precedence over wildcarded matches regardless of position in the
list.
There is no explicit software limit on the number of items in the DN pattern list.
Note: The above bullets only explain pattern matching behavior, not failover behavior. For SIP
SRV implementation in CVP, DNS and local srv are supported. For pattern matchers in the
local static route configuration, there is no selection of a next most fitting pattern if the call
failed, like there is in the implementation in the CUP proxy static routes.

, choose your task from one of the lists below.
The first table enables you to choose a call flow model and go to the related high-level
instructions based on the links and reference points listed in the table.
The second table provides references to additional configuration topics.
Note:
• Configuration instructions are broken into separate instructions for the SIP and the H.323
versions of the call flow models.
• For a full description of each call flow model, refer to

Unified CVP Call Flow Models
Standalone Call Flow Models
Install the VXML Server as a standalone component, without Unified ICME, the Unified
CVP Call Server, or H.323 Service components--a complete solution for rapidly creating
and deploying dynamic VoiceXML applications.
To the previous standalone solution, add the capability of invoking a routing script in Unified
ICME and receiving a response.
