Modifies the current context’s IP address pools by adding, updating or deleting a pool. This command also resizes an 
existing IP pool.

configure > context context_name

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt:

ipv6 pool name { 6to4 local-endpoint ipv4_address [ default-relay-router router_address ] 
| alert threshold | group-name name | policy { allow-static-allocation | dup-addr-
detection } | prefix ip_address/len [ 6to4-tunnel local-endpoint ip_address | default-
relay-router router_address ] | range start_addressend_address | suppress-switchover-arps

no ipv6 pool name 

 

Deletes the previously configured IPv6 pool. 

 

Specifies the logical name of the IP address pool as an alphanumeric string of 1 through 31 characters. 

6to4-tunnel local-endpoint ip_address

 

Specifies the IPv4 address of the local interface to be used for IPv6-to-IPv4 compatible pool address 
construction. 

alert threshold { 6to4 local-endpoint ipv4_address | alert threshold | group-
available | group-name name | policy { allow-static-allocation | dup-addr-
detection } | pool-free | pool-used | prefix | range start_address end_address }

 

Default: All thresholds are disabled. 
Configures IP address pool-level utilization thresholds. These thresholds take precedence over context-level 
IPv6 pool thresholds. 



 

: Sets an alert based on the IPv6 Pool for an IPv6-to-IPv4 compatible address type. 



 

: Sets an alert based on the percentage free alert threshold for this group. 



 

: Sets an alert based on the percentage free alert threshold for this group. 



 

: Sets an alert based on the IPv6 Pool Group.
