Address Type
The Address type that was assigned to this device when the audit record was
created.

Resource Record Audit Report
The Resource Record Audit Report provides audit information about changes that have
occurred to DNS Resource Records. You may run this report for a specific FQDN, Domain,
or DNS Owner.
6.9.1 Resource Record Audit Report Selection
When you select the Resource Record Audit Report function, a selection screen is displayed

that allows you to select how you want to filter the audit information that is displayed.

FQDN
Enter the Fully Qualified Domain Name (Host name . domain name) of the
resource records that you want to display audit information.
Domain
Select the individual Domain that will be used to display audit information.
Leave this blank to search all Domains.
Owner
Enter the DNS “Owner” field as specified in DNS Resource Record
definitions that will be used to display audit information.
Record Type
Select the Resource Record Type (that is, A, PTR, CNAME, and so on) if you
are trying to limit the report to a specific Resource Record Type.
Data
Enter the DNS “RData” field as specified in DNS Resource Record
definitions that will be used to display audit information.
IP Address
Enter the IP Address to display audit information. Only makes sense to use
this filter for A and PTR records.
Administrator
Select the individual administrator that you want to filter the report against,
otherwise select “ALL” to see changes that have occurred for all
administrators.
Start date
Select the calendar icon, and select the starting date for which to filter the
audit report. The format of the start date is “mm/dd/yyyy”. If you leave this
field blank, then all items are returned regardless of start date.
Select the start time using the drop-down menus.

End date
Select the calendar icon, and select the ending date for which to filter the audit
report. The format of the end date is “mm/dd/yyyy”. If you leave this field
blank, then all items will be returned regardless of end date.
Select the end time using the drop-down menus.
Select the end time using the drop-down menus.
Once you have selected your report filters, click
Submit. The report is generated and appears
in your browser.
