Limitations and Restrictions
In Linux installations, Cisco Prime Network Registrar IPAM 8.3 (which ships with the CPNR 8.3.2.1 SDK by default) is
compatible only with CPNR versions newer than 8.3. This is due to a library issue in the CPNR 8.3.2.1 SDK. If you plan
to upgrade both the IPAM Executive and remote agent to version 8.3 and remain in the earlier versions of CPNR (8.3 and
earlier versions), then you must manually replace the default SDK with the latest version of 8.3.x SDK. For more
information, refer to “Appendix G: Backward Compatibility of IPAM 8.3 with CPNR 8.3 and Earlier Releases” section of
Cisco Prime Network Registrar IPAM 8.3 Installation Guide.
