Sample sampleui.properties File

This section identifies the contents of a sample sampleui.properties file. This properties file is located
in the <BPR_HOME>/rdu/conf directory.

Parameters Requiring Change

Parameter

Description

adminuser

Identifies the real administrative user’s login name for the RDU.

adminpass

Identifies the real administrative user’s password for the RDU.

host

Identifies the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or the IP address of the
computer that runs the RDU. This will typically be localhost.

port

Identifies the port number for the RDU computer. Unless changed during
installation, the default value is 49187.

user

Identifies the properties controlling authentication information that are
accepted for the sample administrator pages and the technician login.

techprovisioning.enabled—This is the controlling property when
technician provisioning is enabled. When enabled, the self-provisioning
flow is altered to provide login prompts before the device is registered. If
this is disabled, the interface will prohibit device registration.

•

techprovisioning.authentication—This is the controlling property when
technician provisioning, requiring credential authentication, is used. If
required, this will make the login authenticate against the users registered
in sampleui.properties. If disabled, this will let anybody perform
self-provisioning.

service

Identifies and defines classes of service that are displayed by the sample
provisioning workflow.

Note

If a single class of service is defined, the controls to select a class of
service are not displayed.

computerisp

Defines the ISPs to be listed when registering computers. If only one ISP is
defined, no ISP selection options will be shown in the demo.

disabled

Controls configurable options on a disabled device.
