Cisco Prime for Mobility Release Notes

  Introduction
Cisco Prime for Mobility represents the first of several steps toward Mobile Service Operation support. 
Cisco Prime for Mobility is targeted for tier 1 through tier 3 service providers, utility companies, large 
enterprises, and, at some later time, government agencies that deploy and operate mobile Internet 
systems from Radio Access Network (RAN) backhaul to mobility gateways and associated adjunct 
functions that may be deployed in a data center.
As shown in 
, Cisco Prime for Mobility includes the following suite components, which are 
accessible through the Cisco Prime Central portal:

Cisco Prime Central 1.1

Plays the role of the presentation tier for the entire suite. The portal 
provides a single point of access (single sign-on) to the Prime Central 
domain managers, plus central access to the experience lifecycle tasks.
Cisco Prime Network 3.10
Provides management of packet networks, including access, 
aggregation, edge, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) core, and 
Evolved Packet Core (EPC). Formerly Cisco Active Network

Cisco Prime Optical 9.6
Provides support for time-division multiplexing (TDM)-based RAN 
backhaul, with GUI-based circuit provisioning and fault, performance, 
and configuration management for the optical domain. 
Cisco Prime Performance 
Manager 1.3
Provides performance statistics and reports for service provider and 
large enterprise networks, including access, edge, distribution, core, 
mobile backhaul, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS core, and EPC networks.
Cisco Prime Provisioning 6.3 Automates resource management and provides rapid, profile-based 
provisioning for MPLS-TP and Carrier Ethernet-based RAN backhaul.
