Cisco Prime Network 3.10 Installation 

The recommended hardware options for the target setup are either:

Gateway and unit co-located on one server (one-server setup). This option requires the installation of the gateway software 
only, as the gateway acts as both gateway and unit.

or

Gateway installed on one server, unit installed on a separate server (two-server setup).

This section provides the prerequisites for the hardware and software required for the Prime Network gateway and unit in the

The prerequisites are relevant for an embedded database installation, where the Oracle database is installed on the gateway 
during Prime Network installation and is fully integrated with Prime Network. The gateway and unit can run either Solaris or 
Linux operating systems.

The hardware requirements are provided under the assumption and recommendation that Prime Network 3.10 does 
not share the hardware with additional applications.
