Before Upgrading a PCG
Collect Custom SNMP Configuration Information
Custom SNMP configurations must be restored after a PCG upgrade, so it is

Complete the following steps to copy the SNMP configuration file from the PCG to
the ISDS.

1 Login to the ISDS as the dncs role.

Note: Replace [YYMMDD] with the current date.
3 Navigate to the new directory.
cd /export/home/dncs/pcg-[PCG-Name or IP]-backup-[YYYYMMDD]
4 Copy the snmpd.conf file from the PCG to the ISDS.
scp root@[pcg_IP]:/usr/share/snmp/snmpd.conf .
5 Logout of the dncs role on the ISDS.
