Data Retention Policy
To purge older data, set the retention period. To set the data retention policy, complete the following:
On Job Scheduler, edit /opt/splunk/etc/deployment-apps/CDN_IDX/local/indexes.conf
The indexes without the attribute " frozenTimePeriodInSecs" will take up a default value of 6 years as the retention
policy.

Procedure to Upgrade from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2
If you need to upgrade VDS-SM from version 2.2.1 to 2.2.2, follow the procedure mentioned here.
The procedure to upgrade VDS-SM is divided into analytics nodes and non-analytics nodes. These nodes
need to be upgraded in the following order:

If the upgrade process fails on a node, apply snapshot and restore the node.
