Core Service Node

You need to first upgrade the Core Service node. For this, perform the following steps:

Step 1

Make sure that you take the snapshot of the VM.

Step 2

Copy the file mgmt-svcs-2.2.2-upgrade.tar.gz into the /home/bninet/bni/ directory.

Step 3

Extract the file using the command tar -zxvf mgmt-svcs-2.2.2-upgrade.tar.gz. This creates a directory named "upgrade"
under /home/bninet/bni/.

Step 4

cd to /home/bninet/bni/upgrade/bin

Step 5

Run the command sudo sh upgradeMgmtSvcsNode.sh to upgrade the node.

User Interface Node

After upgrading the Core Service node, you need to upgrade the User Interface (UI) node. For this, perform
the following steps:

Step 1

Make sure that you take the snapshot of the VM.

Step 2

Copy the file ui-2.2.2-upgrade.tar.gz into the /home/bninet/bni/ directory.

Step 3

Extract the file using the command tar -zxvf ui-2.2.2-upgrade.tar.gz. This creates a directory named "upgrade" under
/home/bninet/bni/.

Step 4

cd to /home/bninet/bni/upgrade/bin

Step 5

Run the command sudo sh upgradeUINode.sh to upgrade the node.

CDN Manager Node

After upgrading the UI node, you need to upgrade the CDN Manager node. For this, perform the following
steps:

Step 1

Make sure that you take the snapshot of the VM.

Step 2

Copy the file cdn-mgr-2.2.2-upgrade.tar.gz into the /home/bninet/bni/ directory.

Step 3

Extract the file using the command tar -zxvf cdn-mgr-2.2.2-upgrade.tar.gz. This creates a directory named "upgrade"
under /home/bninet/bni/.

Step 4

cd to /home/bninet/bni/upgrade/bin

Step 5

Run the command sudo sh upgradeCdnMgrNode.sh to upgrade the node.
