Note: If Foreign Configuration cannot be imported, please refer to Appendix D to clear the
existing configuration on the MegaRAID SAS controller card, card have been previously
used or tested and retains cache. If you see following screen (Figure 14) indicating
offline Virtual drives, please refer to Appendix D:

Click on “Start” button to get the current controller configuration. In case you see the
screen below

“ Foreign Configuration Found, Want to Import?” Click on
“Preview” to go to the next screen “ Foreign Configuration As Imported. Click
IMPORT to Import and merge this configuration

”. After that verify that you can
see the logical drive (Virtual drive) and the two physical drives:
