Before AS 3.6, the Numeric Keys Power On DHCT option was an addressable staging 

configuration with two states: 
1  The remote control Power Key must be pressed for the set-top to power on 
2  The remote control Power Key or any Numeric Key must be pressed for the set-

top to power on 

Using AS 3.6 and later, the Numeric Keys Power On DHCT option is modified: 

 

Numeric Keys Power On DHCT can be configured as either a Global variable or as 

an Addressable variable 

 

Instead of a toggle button, the administrator selects power-on keys from the 

following combo list: 
a  Power Key Only 
b  Power and Numeric Keys 
c  Power, Numeric, Channel, and Volume Keys 

Note: Channel keys include Channel +/-, LAST, and FAV.  Volume keys 

include Vol +/- and Mute.
