The Power On Keys feature can be configured globally (for all set-tops) or 

addressably (for certain set-tops). 
In Global Configuration, the Power On Keys checkbox on the General Settings tab 

determines whether the Power On Keys feature is set for Addressable or for Global 

configuration.   

 

When checked, the Power On Keys checkbox enables Addressable configuration 

 

When unchecked, the Power On Keys checkbox enables Global configuration 

 

 

The Global configuration affects all the set-tops in the network. 

 

Keys that can power-on the set-top from standby are set from the Application 

Server.  

 

The Power On Keys option is not displayed in General Settings on the set-top 

box.
