Add a Stream Event
Introduction
A stream event is an event that can happen at an arbitrary time. One example of a
stream event is a ticker tape application that scrolls across the bottom of the TV
screen. A stream event is added to an active stream and is visible from the user’s
perspective. A default application from Strategy & Technology allows you to overlay
a video stream with a transparent window that shows updates in red that have been
made from the TSBroadcaster interface.
Adding a Stream Events
To add a stream event, complete the following steps.
1.
Log in to the TSBroadcaster as a user with the appropriate privileges. See Log
In to the TSBroadcaster in Chapter 3.
Result: After a successful login, the Home Page opens.

2.
Click the Application Sets button from the navigation bar.
Result: The Manage Application Sets Page opens.
3.
Click the Develop Application Set button.
Result: The Application Developer Page opens.
