Set Group Priorities
Setting Group Priorities
The efficacy of having groups with different priorities depends on the receiver
characteristics. Taking start-up behavior as an example, if the receiver only loads the
modules it needs, collecting the start-up objects together in a group of high priority
will reduce start-up latency. However, if the receiver loads the whole object carousel
before starting the application, having groups of different priorities will increase the
time taken to start the application.
Module compression works well for textual data but not for pre-compressed data
like JPEG files.
