Managing Playouts

The TSBroadcaster allows you to schedule the playout of application sets in a 

Transport Stream. The TSBroadcaster offers the following features: 
• 

Scheduling of one-off, daily, weekly and continuous scheduled playouts 

• 

Automatic scheduling of application playout and polled updates 

• 

Concurrent playout of multiple applications within a single carousel 

• 

Dynamic allocation of bit rate to applications 

• 

Automatic signaling to remove terminated applications 

The playout management functions are only available to users who have the 

ManageSchedule privilege. To access the application set management functions 

through the Internet browser UI, log in as a user with the appropriate privilege, 

select the Playouts button from the navigation bar and select a Transport Stream. 

TSBroadcaster will present the Manage Scheduled Playouts Page. This page shows a 

summary of the playouts already defined for the stream, and presents a set of 

buttons to manage them.
