A TSBroadcaster server will only operate if it has been assigned a role. A role is
essentially the name of the job that the server is performing. The actual value of the
role does not matter for a standalone server.

A TSBroadcaster server can work in partnership with another server to form a dual-
redundant pair. Servers will only work in pairs if they both have the same role.
When servers are paired up, one of them continues to operate as it normally does,
but it also sends its model across to its partner whenever it is changed. The other
server does not actively run, but just “shadows.” Its partner accepts changes to its
model to keeps in step and monitors its partner's activity. If the active server fails or
goes down, the shadowing partner takes over.
Manage Server Page
The server management functions are available to users who have the
ManageSystem privilege. To access the stream event management functions through
the Internet browser UI, log in as a user with the appropriate privilege and select the
Server button from the navigation bar. The TSBroadcaster displays the Manage
Server Page. This page shows information about the TSBroadcaster server and
presents a set of buttons to manage the server. The TSBroadcaster only presents the
buttons for operations available in the current state.
