Drop a Partner
Dropping a Partner
If you are operating the TSBroadcaster as part of a redundant pair, you can drop a
partner to cause the TSBroadcaster to operate in a standalone mode.

Be sure to retrieve and save a model before you drop a partner. You may need to
revert to the model that you saved.

This operation is available in all states except CheckingActivePartner and Standby
To drop a partner, complete the following steps.
1.
Log in to the TSBroadcaster as a user with the appropriate privileges. See Log
In to the TSBroadcaster in Chapter 3.
Result: After a successful login, the Home Page opens.

Click the Server button from the navigation bar.
Result: The Manage Server Page opens.
3.
Click the Drop Partner button to stop the TSBroadcaster from operating as
one of a redundant pair.
