Setting Up the TSBroadcaster

To make the TSBroadcaster work in the Digital Broadband Delivery System (DBDS), 

you must configure the DNCS for the TSBroadcaster. This section provides the 

necessary steps for configuring the DNCS to work with the TSBroadcaster. 
In this section, you will complete the following tasks: 
• 

Configure an MPEG Source for the TSBroadcaster 

• 

Configure a QAM for the TSBroadcaster 

• 

Create a  Session for the TSBroadcaster 

To properly configure the DNCS to work with the TSBroadcaster, the following 

information must correlate on both systems: 
• 

The DNCS source ID must match the TSBroadcaster OCAP source ID.  

• 

The MPEG Program number on the DNCS must match the Service ID on the  

TSBroadcaster.  

Work closely with your system integrators to make sure that you assign the correct 

information to both systems. Use the following table to record the information.
