TSBroadcaster Administration

This section provides descriptions for the TSBroadcaster properties. The properties 

described in this section show the default values in parentheses for optional 

properties. You can add, change, or remove property values in this file as required. 

Re-boot the TSBroadcaster server after changing the properties file to start using the 

new values. 
The TSBroadcaster reads in its properties at start-up from the following file: 
/media1/tsbroadcaster/broadcaster.properties 

The TSBroadcaster uses the following system properties. 

 

system.serverFile 

Defines the location of the server attributes file 

system.modelRoot 

Defines the directory holding the TSBroadcaster 

model 

system.workRoot 

Defines the working directory 

system.buildRoot 

Defines the directory holding the build files 

system.logRoot 

Defines the directory holding the log files 

system.archiveRoot 

Defines the directory holding the archive files 

system.timeZone 

Defines the time zone used by the system for 

schedule display and log and archive management 

system.locale 

Defines the locale of the system for text formatting 

purposes 

system.hexadecimalPids 

Defines whether decimal or hexadecimal PIDs are 

displayed (false)  

system.streamEventCount 

(5) Defines how many copies of a stream event are 

inserted into the output stream
