Deployment Options
Introduction
The TSBroadcaster and TSPlayer can be deployed in a number of different ways to
provide the capability for distributed and redundant operation. This section
provides information on your deployment options. Contact your supplier if you
wish to discuss deployment location options to meet a particular requirement.
Locating the TSBroadcaster and TSPlayers
The TSBroadcaster can be located at a central management site, connected to the
TSPlayers at the remote sites by TCP/IP over WAN. This option allows you to
manage a distributed playout network from a single site.
The TSPlayers can be located at transmission sites, minimizing the need for ASI or

RF distribution, and can be managed remotely, minimizing the need for on-site
intervention.
Using Redundant Pairs
The TSBroadcasters can be deployed in dual-redundant pairs to provide continuous
control resilient to the failure of a single TSBroadcaster.
