Data Entry Pages
At many points within the TSBroadcaster UI, you are requested to create or edit an
item by entering data on a form. Because this is a common step, the TSBroadcaster
provides a standard page format for it. The page contains a form with data entry
fields for all the information that you have to provide, and a button to save the
newly created or edited item. To exit a data entry page without entering any data,
press the back button of the Internet Browser or select a button from the
TSBroadcaster navigation bar.

The TSBroadcaster provides the following types of fields for data entry.
Field
Description
Read only
Provides contextual information for the create or edit operation
Text field
Allows the entry of a single line of text, normally a name,
number, or a timestamp
Text box
Allows the entry of multiple lines of descriptive text
Selection
Allows the entry of one of a number of alternatives. Wherever
possible, the TSBroadcaster uses selection fields for selection
from a constrained list of values
Check box
Allows the entry of a Boolean value
File field
Allows the selection of a file path from the client file system,
either by typing in the path or by browsing to the appropriate
path using a file dialog
