Create an OCAP Service
Introduction
This section provides guidelines and a procedure for creating an OCAP service.
Guidelines
Follow these guidelines when you create an OCAP service:

When you create an OCAP service, PAT and PMT are not version-checked, so an
administrator should not change them after putting them into a production
system. Changes would not be seen by an OCAP implementation until after a set-
top is reset. Each carousel will have its own PMT Packet Identification numbers
(PIDs) as well. Additionally, all audio and video content will have its own PMT
PIDs.

The PMT PID and the carousel PID should be set to a common value.

PIDs 0x20 to 0x1FFA are available for use by TSBroadcaster. Some PIDs allowed
by TSBroadcaster may be reserved for special processing in OCAP headends and
modulators. Each PID in a TSBroadcaster stream definition must be unique
