Backing Up the Key Files to the DNCS or Application Server
Follow these instructions under the following circumstances:

You are backing up the key files of the DNCS to a tape in the DNCS, itself
•
You are backing up the key files of the Application Server to a tape in the
Application Server, itself
If you are backing up the key files of the Application Server to a tape in the DNCS,
use the procedure in Backing Up the Key Files to a Remote Host Computer, next in
this section, instead.

1.
Insert the blank tape into the tape drive of the DNCS or Application Server,
whichever server you are backing up, and wait for the green light to stop
flashing.
2.
Type /cdrom/cdrom0/s3/backup_restore/backupKeyFiles and then press
Enter.
Result: The system backs up the DNCS or Application Server key files and

When the backup is complete, eject the tape and store it in a safe place.

Type eject cdrom and then press Enter.

Remove the CD and store it in a safe place.
