Basic System Functionality Tests

Run the following tests to verify the ability to modify the configuration of the DHCT. 

If the actual results differ from the stated results, note the differences and attempt to 

troubleshoot the condition. 

 

1. 

Update the default DHCT global configuration file by changing the quick 

settings values.  
Note:  Find the DHCT Config on the Server Applications tab. If no default 

file exists, create one. 

2. 

After 3 minutes, verify that the quick settings on the DHCT match the new 

ones you just entered in step 1. 
Result:  The settings match.

3. 

Turn on power to the DHCT and update the default DHCT configuration file 

by changing the quick settings values. 

4. 

After 1 minute, verify that the quick settings on the DHCT match the new 

ones you just entered in step 1. 
Result:  The settings match.

5. 

Turn off power to the DHCT and send an addressable configuration update to 

the DHCT to change the power-on channel. 

6. 

Wait 1 minute and then turn on power to the DHCT. 
Result:  The DHCT tunes to the channel just specified as the new power-on 

channel.
