After setting the BIG offline, you need to stop the BFS and OSM processes on the 

DNCS next. Follow these instructions to stop the processes. 

 



  1. 

If necessary, open an xterm window on the DNCS. 



  2. 

Type dncsControl and then press Enter. 
Result:  The Dncs Control window opens.
