Convert the DNCS Database
Introduction
In this procedure, you will convert the DNCS database to SR 2.5 and SR 3.5
standards.
Note: The system components should be stopped.

Converting the DNCS Database
Follow these instructions to convert the DNCS database.
Note: You should still be root user in an xterm window on the DNCS.

1.
Type /etc/rc2.d/S75cron stop and then press Enter.
Result: The system stops the cron jobs on the DNCS.

From a terminal window, type . /dvs/dncs/bin/dncsSetup and then press
Enter.
Note: Be sure to type the dot, followed by a space, before typing /dvs.
Result: The system establishes the root user environment.

Type bldDncsDb and then press Enter.
Result: The system converts the DNCS database.
