Alarm Summary: 
SDV SRM Interactive Session Bandwidth Request Denied 
Description: 
This alarm occurs when the DNCS denies the SDV server's request for more 
bandwidth. 
Severity: 
Major 
Service Impact: 
This condition may hamper the following abilities of the SDV server: 
 
The ability to stay ahead of demand for new programs 
 
The ability to satisfy a new CCMIS request in real-time 
Check and Correct: 
Possible Cause 
Check and Correct Instructions 
No available edge device bandwidth. 
Check the bandwidth allocated for the 
affected service group and verify that 
the maximum bandwidth is allocated. 
Verify that all allocated QAMs are 
operational. 
Verify that all service group resources 
are being fully utilized. 
The service group may need to be re-
engineered to provide additional QAM
