What CRs Are Included in This Service Pack?
4000916 Rev C

CR 49972
Previously, subscribers were seeing a black screen instead of video in the PPV free
preview window. This CR corrects the issue on the DNCS.

CR 50834
If the siManager process unexpectedly shuts down, the process is designed to restart
automatically. Previously, if the siManager process shut down more than three
consecutive times, the process would not restart automatically. If you did not
manually restart the siManager process, set-tops that rebooted would not have
system information. This CR corrects the issue on the DNCS.

CR 51974
When you delete a source from the Sources tab of the BFS Administration window,
now the only sessions torn down automatically are the session for the deleted source
and any sessions numbered higher than the session for the deleted source. In
addition, if the deletion for the source fails, no sessions are torn down.

CR 52198
The qamManager process correctly handles non-responsive QAMs.

CR 52603
The MMMServer is now able to register with the BFS server, if the MMMAud
cabinet is missing from the BFS client.

CR 52619
A condition was reported where unknown DCM information was being sent to set-
tops. As a result, these set-tops would not correctly boot up in DOCSIS mode. To
address this issue, Cisco added the Digital Storage Media Command and Control
(DSM-CC) message header to the UNConfig message.

CR 52833
Previously, the sgManager would intermittently send a refresh cache to the drm that
caused a mismatch between the drm and dsm. This mismatch would result in
segment information not being sent to the DSM; therefore, the content could go out
in the clear. This CR corrects the issue on the DNCS.

CR 54992
The auditQAM utility now supports GQAMs.

CR 55285
EAS messages are now received correctly by multiple QPSK modulators.
