Checking the EAS Configuration
You now need to verify that your EAS equipment is working correctly by testing the
system’s ability to transmit EAS messages. Complete all of the procedures in Testing
the EAS of Configuring and Troubleshooting the Digital Emergency Alert System, For Use
With All System Releases. After completing the procedures in this chapter verify that
an EAS message is generated from the Emergency Alert Controller (EAC).
