The Cisco Resident Application (SARA) captures system data from the
DHCTs, and then the application reports the data in the appropriate
diagnostic screens. The diagnostic screens allow you to quickly confirm
the current SARA and PowerTV OS version, check upgrade status by
viewing Bootloader information, examine DOCSIS* information, and
view details about the video-on-demand (VOD) and digital video
recorder (DVR) services. For example, if customers call in with
macroblocking questions, you can use the diagnostic screens to view
the data transmission error rate and the signal levels.
