Result:  The handheld terminal attempts to identify the device type of the 
transponder.  If recognized, terminal application "MHS_TpApp3.app", software 
number 530526, is loaded into the handheld terminal's memory and the 
transponder configuration menu items are available.  If the handheld terminal's 
screen does not illuminate, make sure that its plug is fully inserted into the local 
control port on the module. 
Note:  If the handheld terminal cannot identify the device type, or cannot find its 
associated terminal application, the transponder configuration menu items will 
not load.  Refer to the handheld programming terminal's download kit user 
documentation. 
2  Select menu item 3 - RX Frequency
a  Enter the downstream frequency, in MHz, on which the transponder will 
receive commands from the headend. 
3  Select menu item 6 - TX Level
a  Enter the desired output power level for the transponder. 
Note:  The valid range is 24 dBmV to 50 dBmV. 
4  Wait for communication to be established. 
Note:  Once the transponder is registered, the Receive LED on the SM remains 
solid green, while the Heart Beat LED blinks slowly.  Also, the SM configuration 
menu item 8 - Status displays "Registered".
