Process Overview
Be sure to allow yourself adequate time to complete this procedure. Adding an
MPEG source takes approximately 30 minutes. To add an MPEG source to the
DNCS, you must complete the following tasks.
1 Set up the MPEG source basic parameters.
2 Set up the connection from the MPEG source to the program MQAM modulator.

Important: You can only add up to two MPEG sources per MQAM modulator.
Setting Up MPEG Source Basic Parameters
1 On the DNCS Administrative Console, click the DNCS tab, and then click the
Network Element Provisioning tab.
2 Click MPEG Source. The MPEG Source List window opens.
