Is each Alarm Manager client PC configured with one of the following 

operating systems? 

 

Windows 98 

 

Windows 2000 

 

Windows NT 4.0 

 

Windows XP 

Notes:    

 

Examine the OS Name field to determine the operating system installed 

on the PC. 

 

You can close the System Information window. 

 

 

 

Follow these instructions to determine whether the monitor attached to each 

Alarm Manager client PC supports a minimum resolution of 800 x 600 

pixels. 

Click the right mouse button anywhere on the Windows desktop and 

then select Properties. 
Result:  The Display Properties window opens. 

Click Settings and examine the Screen Area field. 

Does the Alarm Manager client PC support a minimum resolution of  

800 x 600 pixels? 

Note:  Keep the Display Properties window open; you will use it to answer 

the next question. 

 

 

 

Examine the Colors field of the Display Properties window. Does each 

Alarm Manager client PC support at least 16-bit color? 
Note:    You can now close the Display Properties window.
