Note:  The Alarm Manager server must have network connectivity to the 

Alarm Manager client PCs that connect to the server, as well as to the DNCS. 

Before installing the Alarm Manager client software, be sure that your system meets 

the following minimum hardware and operating system requirements: 

 

Intel processor, single CPU 
Important:  We do not support dual-CPU configurations; Alarm Manager client 

software will not run on a dual-CPU configuration. 

 

Pentium III (or equivalent) operating at 750 MHz 

 

800 x 600 resolution on monitor 

 

100 MB of available disk space 

 

16-bit color display adapter 

 

Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, or Windows XP OS with the 

latest service pack and video driver for display adapter installed 

 

Network Connectivity 

You must have secure network connectivity from the Alarm Manager client 

PC(s) to the site Alarm Manager server. 

If you are using a Network Operations Center (NOC) Alarm Manager server 

to manage the site Alarm Manager, your Alarm Manager client PC must have 

network connectivity to the NOC Alarm Manager server and the site Alarm 

Manager server.
