Complete this procedure only if your copyControlParams.inf file contained 
customized entries before the upgrade. If it did not contain any customized entries, 
skip this procedure and go to the next procedure in this chapter. 
1  Did your copyControlParams.inf file contain any customized entries prior to the 

upgrade? 

 

If yes, continue with step 2. 

 

If no, skip to the next procedure in this chapter. 

2  Open two xterm windows on the DNCS. 

a  In the first xterm window, type the following command and press Enter. 

b  In the second xterm window, open the copyControlParams.inf file using a 

text editor, such as vi. 

3  Edit the file opened in the text editor so that it contains any customized entries. 
4  Save and close the edited file.
