This section provides a table of the requirements, methods, and procedures for 

conducting the RWT and the RMT on each EAS.  
Important: You must configure your system so that the RMT always functions in 

automatic mode. The FCC conducts the RMTs. 
Note: You can configure your system so that the RWT always functions in automatic 

mode or you can set up the RWT to run in manual mode. See Test the EAS from the 

ISDS (on page 54) for information on sending and terminating ad hoc EAS messages. 

 

Use the following table to find your EAS equipment manufacturer, and follow the 

instructions provided for your system. Refer to the documentation for your specific 

EAC for additional information on conducting the RWT and the RMT.
