Determining the Current Number of Sessions and Programs
You can confirm a successful upgrade by comparing the number of sessions and
programs running on the modulators before and after downloading the new
modulator code.

Follow these instructions to record the Session Count, the Program Count, and the IP

address of each of your MQAM modulators.
1. Press the Options button on the front panel of the MQAM modulator to
cycle through the menu screens until the Session Count screen appears.
2. Press the RF SEL button to scroll through the RF outputs and write the
number of sessions for each of the four RF outputs on a sheet of paper.
3. Press the Options button again to view the Program Counts screen.
4. Press the RF SEL button to scroll through the RF outputs and write the
number of programs for each of the four RF outputs on a sheet of paper.
5. Press the Options button repeatedly to view the IP address for the MQAM
modulator.
6. Write the IP address for the MQAM modulator on a sheet of paper.
7. Your next step is to reset the MQAM modulators through the DNCS GUI or
the MQAM back panel. Depending on the method you want to use, do one
of the following:
