Introducing TED Software Version 4.0
Introducing TED Software Version 4.0
TED software provides security for the Cisco Digital Network Control System
(DNCS) that allows selective access to secured broadcast services, pay-per-view
(PPV) services, impulse pay-per-view (IPPV) services, and video-on-demand (VOD)
services. This security feature, known as PowerKey Conditional Access, ensures the
delivery of secure and authenticated services within service provider networks.
Using the TED IV and PowerKey encryption techniques, a service provider can
secure the transmission of the content throughout the network and allow only the
authorized subscriber to access the service.
