Cisco Prisma HDRx Reverse Optical Receiver Platform & Power Supply System Technical References

 

This information sheet is intended to instruct field technicians on the wattage limitations 

for the Prisma HDRx chassis.  

The digital receiver, part number 732990, draws 5 watts of power. The total module 

wattage limit for the Prisma HDRx is 120 watts. The maximum number of HDRx digital 

receivers in the Prisma HDRx chassis, part number 731508, is 24.  If this limit is 

exceeded, the chassis will go into alarm. For further information, refer to the Prisma 

HDRx Chassis User’s Guide, part number 735462, located inside the front cover of the 

chassis.
