Primary nameserver—The primary name server. You may add or edit this nameserver. To configure multiple name 
servers or NTP servers, enter y.
Primary NTP server[time.nist.gov]
Username—The name of the first administrative user. You can accept the default, which is admin.
Note
You should not use cmuser as the administrative user name. This could result in problems because cmuser is 
the pre-configured Cisco Prime CM CLI user.
Password—Enter your password and confirm it. The default is admin. We recommend that you note down this 
password. This password cannot be retrieved or reset.
The End User License Agreement appears. 
Step 4
Review the license agreement and enter y to accept the license agreement.
The virtual machine reboots.
Note
Cisco Prime CM hostname needs to be configured in the DNS server for the Notification feature to work.

Setting up Devices on the Network
You must configure the endpoints, call processors, multipoint switches, network devices, and application managers with the 
following credentials before managing them in Cisco Prime CM.
Note
You must enable and configure SNMP services in CTS-Manager, CTMS, CTS, Cisco Unified CM, and network devices, 
for Cisco Prime CM to work properly. See product documentation listed in 
Device Information Required Before Discovering Devices
