 folder displays on the desktop, along with
the Administration Tools menu option on the Start menu (Start > All Programs > Cisco
Unified CCE Tools > Administration Tools
).
The Administration Tools icon displays in the Unified CCE Tools folder, which is a shortcut
to the Administration Tools folder.
Unified CCE Tools Folder
Users with Setup rights and who are part of a Local Admin group can run the following tools:
ICMdba
Peripheral Gateway Setup
Service Control
SSL Encryption Utility
Service Account Manager
Administration Client Setup
Web Setup
Unified System CLI Tool
The following tools are available in this folder:
Administration Client Setup. Sets up Administration Client(s) for ICM/CCE/CCH Instance(s)
on a machine. An Administration Client is a lightweight remote administration interface to
an Administration & Data Server. An Instance is a single logical Unified ICM/CCE/CCH.
Domain Manager. Allows the creation of Organizational Units (OU) along with groups and
permissions associated with each OU. It also allows you to give user permissions to various
Unified ICM tasks.
Glossary. Defines terms related to the system software.
ICMdba. Provides a central utility that allows you to create new databases, modify or delete
existing databases, and perform limited SQL Server configuration tasks.
Performance Monitor (For Windows 2008 R2 systems only). This shortcut launches the
32-bit version of perfmon so that Unified CCE 32-bit process can easily be monitored.
Peripheral Gateway Setup (PG Setup). A Unified ICM/CCE/CCH tool with which
administrators and system administrators can set up Peripheral Gateways (PGs) and their
associated Peripheral Interface Managers (PIMs), CTI Server, Outbound Option Dialer, and
CompuCALL Server Gateway.
