Where to Install InfoMaker
Where to Install InfoMaker
InfoMaker must be located on a separate machine that has network connections
to the WebView server and the distributor Admin Workstation.
Effective with WebView 7.0(0), you must not install InfoMaker on the WebView
server or on the distributor Admin Workstation. InfoMaker installs certain
DLL

(dynamic link library) files that must be in a separate space from the
DLL
 files
called by the software installed on the WebView server and on the AW. If you have
upgraded from a prior release, the administrator who performed the upgrade was
instructed to remove InfoMaker software from the WebView server.
For WebView to work correctly, the machine where you install InfoMaker:
Must have an ODBC connection to the reporting databases on the distributor
Admin Workstation. See
Must have a network connection to the shared folder on the WebView server
where templates are stored. See
.
