Provide a Description for the role (optional).

Enter an Application code (optional).
5.
Enter the Price for the role.
6.
Select the Tenants for which this role will be accessible. You will see these options:
Assign role for all Tenants
Assign role to Specific Tenant. If chosen, select a tenant from the box below the Specific Tenants Option. 
7.
Click Submit.
Registering Chef Role
Register the Chef Roles you want to be made available to users ordering servers with configuration management. ACM 
uses Chef roles for server configuration.
Access the Discovered Chef Roles
1.
Choose Setup > Manage Infrastructure.
2.
Navigate to Chef on the left hand side of the screen. 
3.
Click the "Chef" box.
4.
Choose the Chef Platform element that you have connected through Connect Cloud Infrastructure via the System 
Settings page.
5.
Click Roles
If you have roles created in your Chef server, you will see roles in Discovered state. 
6.
Navigate to a role you want to register and click the gear icon 
 next to the role. 
7.
You will see the following options in the pop up box:
Register Chef Role
Cloud Resource Maintenance
Ignore Resource
8.
Click Register Chef Role.
The Register Chef role form opens.
Register a Discovered Chef Role
1.
Choose the operating System you want your role to work with.
2.
Provide a "Friendly" name.
This name will show up on the Order forms across the system.
3.
Provide a Description for the role (optional).
4.
Enter an Application code (optional).
5.
Enter the Price for the role.
