Validate network default routing
To validate network default routing:
Step 1
Refer the local Service Control dialog and ensure both the side A and side B
Router and Logger services are stopped and set to manual.

Validate that Network Default Routing is taking place.
Start ICM side A and the Key AW(s)

Using local service control, start the side A Logger and Router.
Step 2
Once the side A Logger and Router initilization is complete, start the AW/HDS.

Start the services individually. Do not use the Start All option.

After the upgrade, there may be two ICM Service Control icons on the desktop.
Right-click on each and select Properties. Delete the icon having icr in the Target
and Start in fields. Use the ICM Service Control icon with icm in the Target and
Start in fields.

Step 3
Look for the UAW (UpdateAW.exe) process running in the desktop taskbar with
the line Nothing to do. At this point, its configuration should match that of the
logger and all the standard tools should be usable.

If this AW is a Real-Time Distributor (RTD), the last line of the RTDist process
running in the desktop taskbar should state Preferred DB restored.
